« Mon père était réalisateur, et ma mère était actrice. Avoir une jolie caméra à la maison fait partie de nos habitudes. Cela nous est indispensable, c’est un peu comme avoir un salon avec canapé et télé. » Si tout prédestinait Arash Khaksari à une carrière artistique, rien ou presque ne le promettait précisément au métier de photographe. Il y a encore quelques années de cela, l’artiste iranien occupait un emploi, mais l’ennui était palpable. Un monde « beaucoup trop carré » pour celui qui affirme préférer les ronds, pour « la douceur qu’ils apportent au quotidien ».
